We have exciting news about Downtown Tuesday! We listened to your suggestions about spreading the word to the city about the program and have invested in a robust advertising campaign.
We created, in partnership with WOAI, a weekly live segment on the San Antonio Living Show every Tuesday for four months. The first show aired on May 21st and was shot at the Marina Parking Lot and featured “Third Brewsday.” Our next show will feature our partner The San Antonio Downtown Food Trucks on May 28 at Alamo Plaza. See the video of the first segment at the link below and feel free to share the link on your social media sites.
Next, we will have print ads in the North and Alamo Heights publications of “Local,” The Observer, Study Breaks, and The Current. See the sample ad for June.
Finally, we signed up with TSRN San Antonio Sports to run ads in over 20 high school baseball playoff games; we have 56 spots guaranteed! Those ads have been running now for 2 weeks and will continue until the championship round.
We are very confident that these advertising efforts will increase traffic to the downtown area on Tuesdays. Please share this advertising with your staff and through your social media networks.
